The Mercedes-Benz W123 is a range of executive cars produced by German manufacturer Mercedes-Benz from November 1975 to January 1986. Fondly referred to as Mercedes “Flat Boot” by many Nigerians.
It was a very popular car in Nigeria in the early 80s and was driven by the elitist in the society which included the Biafran War Lord Late Lieutenant General Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu and a host of others.
The base model of Mercedes Benz 230E W123 is powered by a 2.0 litre I4 engine.
